From the desert’s muted tans to winter’s shades of gray, it was a contrast in running experiences this morning as Riley and myself headed out for our pre-dawn journey.
The stillness of the air proved soothing. It also served as a gentle immersion back into winter running in the Northland.
One day earlier, I joined a buddy for a fast 6 miles indoors at Bemidji State University. It also proved to be a chance for me to get back into the pool for some swim training as I shift focus to my quest at Ironman Wisconsin.
