End of a journey

Upcoming fundraiser

Earlier this month, I wrote about Elliot and Elisha Kabanuk, a father-daughter duo who planned to run across North Dakota in hopes of raising money for the Caring for Children program.

Their 360-mile journey, at least the running part of it, finishes at noon Thursday when they cross the Main Avenue bridge over the Red River, between Fargo and Moorhead.

They’re hoping people will come out to support the end of the run, and you can find out more about the journey on the Kabanuk’s Facebook page.  It includes written and photo entries of their experience, details of the trip, links and an opportunity to donate.

They also are hosting a fundraiser at 5 p.m. Thursday at the Pizza Ranch in Casselton, N.D.
